Brief Description
The Fund was designed to support community and voluntary groups offering opportunities for people to gain new skills, which will ultimately allow people to enter or re-enter the world of employment.
More Information
The Fund's main purpose is to break down barriers to learning, encouraging individuals who do not engage well with standard educational or training routes. This could be due to a lack of confidence, experience, finances, the structured approach of some formal routes or because the community simply has a lack of existing training / learning facilities or role models to aspire to.
