Derbyshire Community Foundation is dedicated to improving quality of life and helping to build stronger communities across the county by building an endowment fund to benefit Derbyshire people in perpetuity. Setting up Your Own Fund
A fund with Derbyshire Community Foundation works just like a charitable trust, It allows your company to support issues and areas of your choice but saves all the trouble of appointing trustees, handling investments and dealing with paperwork. Your fund retains its individual identity within our overall portfolio. Used to award grants to local charities it is a testimony to a company’s long term commitment to the community.
Alternatively, a company can channel its charitable budget through the Foundation and make an annual donation, which is distributed that year.
Making a Donation
Derbyshire Community Foundation welcomes donations of any size to support our grant making programmes. Regardless of the size of your donation, you can be sure that it will be used to improve the quality of life for the people of Derbyshire and distributed in response to local needs. Our grants are distributed to grass roots projects making a real difference to the local community.
Every general donation is pooled with others in the Foundation’s discretionary capital fund and the income used to support communities now and for years to come.
Payroll Giving
Payroll Giving is a flexible scheme that enables employees to make charitable donations to the Community Foundation straight from their gross salary. This means that they receive immediate tax relief on the value of their donation.Support in Kind
