Current Corporate Donors

Derbyshire Community Foundation attracts donations from many different individuals and companies throughout Derbyshire. We are grateful for all donations and have listed here a few of the donors who have set up Named Funds within the Derbyshire Community Foundation.
To find out how you could become a donor, contact Rachael Grime, Executive Director for more information.

Egg
The Derbyshire Community Foundation has worked closely with Egg to support Egg’s developing local talent programme. Run by Derbyshire Community Foundation and Egg in conjunction with the Derby Playhouse, this fund rewards outstanding participants of the Egg Theatre Academy at Derby Playhouse.
The first award went to Kelsey Brookfield for his outstanding audition in July 2005. He was awarded £5,000 to continue his theatre studies at Bristol Old Vic.

Rolls Royce
Rolls Royce have supported Derbyshire Community Foundation since 1998, through generous donations to our endowment fund and by setting up a Named Fund. Grants are made once a year by a committee at Rolls Royce, where they support voluntary and community groups within their travel to work area. The support they have provided to voluntary and community groups is more than £45,000 to date.

Thorntons
Thorntons have been working with Derbyshire Community Foundation since 1997 by donating to our endowment fund. As a result of this investment, they have been able to make annual grants to the Cromford Venture Centre, totalling £6,100 to date.
