How To Give to The Derbyshire Community Foundation
Wedding List Giving
Wedding List Giving helps couples who are getting married to use their wedding day to give money to charities and not-for-profit organisations as well as, or instead of, a traditional wedding list.
Full details are at weddinglistgiving.com.
For every pound donated, 100% of donations reach the charity. Wedding List Giving aim to take their administrative fee from the additional 28p of Gift Aid if guests Gift Aid their donations. When guests Gift Aid their donations, the charities receive £1.16 for every £1 donated.
Couples choose the charity or charities that they want to support and guests donate whatever they can afford. Wedding List Giving contact each couple personally to notify them of the total raised through this alternative wedding list, so that couples can announce it on their wedding day.
If you are getting married, you can choose Derbyshire Community Foundation to receive donations from your guests. Derbyshire Community Foundation provides the opportunity to give something back to disadvantaged communities throughout Derbyshire. Your donation can support a wide variety of projects – ideas on what to support can be found on this site by looking at the Grants section.
We can tailor your donation to your requirements, so whether you want to provide new toys for a local toy library, new football nets for an inner city sports club, plants and trees for community gardens or vital transport to allow older people to get out and about – we can help. Our funding themes cover the following issues:
- Arts & Culture
- Children & Young People
- Community
- Education
- Elderly
- Environment
- Health
- Rural
- Sport
- Urban
We will work with you to ensure that your donation really helps the people of Derbyshire and you will get full feedback from whatever project you decide to support.
