New funding available for Community groups working on the Sinfin & Austin Estates in Derby City

For 2008 – 2010 three small grants streams have been created for groups working on the Sinfin & Austin estates, each offering grants of up to £10,000:

1. Community & Voluntary Group Support: for community groups looking to improve their current services and become more self-sufficient
2. Children & Young People: projects aimed at increasing the number and quality of projects for younger people
3. Training & Education: project which increase the level of training opportunities

We are holding launch events in each area. These events are an opportunity for groups to talk face to face with staff and panel members about projects/the funding streams and about the Fairshare program.

Events will be held:

Sinfin Moor Social Club Tuesday, 13 May 2pm – 6pm
Austin Community Enterprise Ltd Friday 16 May 2pm – 6pm
